Hey everybody!
I’ve been thinking about my career as a solo artist a lot lately, and I wanted to share some of my thoughts.
I have plans for stardom. I played a great headlining show at the Mystic last night with Gabby La La, which affirmed how much I love performing great shows for great people. In coming months and years, I plan to move the solo act away from free café gigs and towards doing real concerts.
Before I really start making that move, I want to keep playing out as much as I can to build buzz and make new fans and friends. So you’ll notice my calendar for March and April will be full of a lot of opportunities to come hear me play for free, which I encourage you to check out while you can!
I also have demo CDs available at my shows – 5 tracks for 5 bucks!
I’m selling these for a limited time until I get my full length album released. I’m going in to record on March 2nd at Coyote Creek Studio with Robert Butler. Robert’s a sweetheart and I’m really excited to record with him.
And on a side note, sorry for not posting in a long time. I’ve been spending most of my writing time working on my raw food website, which I’ll announce properly sometime soon!
Thanks so much for your support. Much love,
Josh
